Like many ski towns out west, Breckenridge started out as a gold mining town. Now this pretty place attracts retirees for year round living. There are plenty of shops and restaurants, and it is considered very bike friendly.
If you live in a condominium, 55+, or active adult community you will have an HOA in charge. Yet we see many folks who are dead set against these organizations. Here are some important things you need to know about them.
Located just above Daytona, Ormond Beach was initially known for its car racing on the beach. Now it has a great town center (former home of John D. Rockefeller), many communities to live in, and a lower cost of living.
Vic chose Port Charlotte (FL) for retirement. Karen hasn't yet decided where to retire, but as a single person she has thought a lot about it. George and his wife found they had different visions about the "where" part of retirement, but they are working it out.
